Pengaruh Media Boneka Tangan Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berbicara Anak Kelompok B2 di TK Negeri 5 Tibang Banda Aceh

Abstract

Based on the results of observations made by researchers during PPL in October 2021 on children in group B2 at TK Negeri 5 Tibang Banda Aceh, it was found that children's speaking skills were still not fully developed. The child has not been able to answer and retell the content of the story that has been conveyed by the teacher, and the child's ability to answer or retell the content of the story brought by the teacher is still low. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the hand puppet media has an effect on the speaking ability of Group B2 children in TK Negeri 5 Tibang Banda Aceh?. This study aims to determine the effect of hand puppet media to improve the speaking ability of children in Group B2 at TK Negeri 5 Tibang Banda Aceh. The approach used is a quantitative approach with a one-group pre-test-post-test design. The data used in this study were obtained from the observations of children. Data collection techniques in this study were pretest and post-test. The results showed that the average speaking ability of children through the use of hand puppet media in Group B2 at TK Negeri 5 Tibang Banda Aceh was 29.02 for the pretest average and 37.24 for the post-test average of children. In addition, based on the calculation of the hypothesis test t obtained t_table = t_((1-α, n-1) ) = t_((0.95)(16))=1.746, so that the value of t-count>t-table is 10.27> 1.746, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the hand puppet media has an effect on the speaking ability of the children of Group B2 in TK Negeri 5 Tibang Banda Aceh. It is hoped that teachers will apply this hand puppet media to improve children's speaking skills.
