Abstract

LKPD is very necessary in learning to support students in stimulating the ability to solve various
mathematical problems. The limited availability of LKPD requires teachers to develop contextualbased LKPD so that it can be used in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study is to describe
the stage of developing contextual-based LKPD on the subject of number patterns and to find out
whether contextual-based LKPD meets the criteria of being valid, practical and effective. Thisresearch
has the type of Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model, including
analysis of development design, implementation and evaluation. Data were collected through
questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed by quantitative data analysis techniques and also
qualitative analysis. The results showed that: (1) the development of this LKPD adopted the ADDIE
development model developed by Lee and Owens, namely analysis, design, development,
implementation and evaluation. However, for the development of this LKPD, the researcher only
limited it to the development stage and it has been modified. (2) The results of the development of
contextual-based LKPD on the number pattern material are feasible to use from the aspect of validity.
Based on the results of material experts and media expert validation, the results obtained are for the
material, the percentage of validity is 88% in the Very Good / Very Valid category. Furthermore, the
results of media expert validation obtained a percentage of 83% in the Very Good/Very Valid
category. Thus, the contextual-based worksheets that were developed can be implemented in class
VIII of SMP Kartika XIV Banda Aceh. Meanwhile, in terms of practicality and effectiveness, no
trials were carried out because students of SMP Kartika XIV Banda Aceh studied online.
