EFEKTIVITAS METODE BERCERITA KISAH NABI MUHAMMAD SAW TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN MORAL KESOPANAN KELOMPOK B DI PAUD IT JABAL NUR ACEH BESAR

Abstract

The storytelling method is a method that can develop several elements of development in children, as well as emotional, social, physical/motor, moral, religious, language and cognitive development. The formulation of the problem in this study is 1. Whether by using the method of telling the story of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) on the moral development of politeness of group B children in PAUD IT Jabal Nur Aceh Besar there is effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of storytelling methods on the moral development of politeness in group B in PAUD IT Jabal Nur Aceh Besar. This research approach is carried out quantitatively, using the type of experimental research, and the design of pre test and post test one group. Based on the results of data analysis that researchers have done, values are obtained amounted to 22.53 while for gets a value of 1.703.  Rules for drawing conclusions expressed by Arikunto (2010) if  then H₀ is rejected and H_a is accepted. Thus, the conclusion drawn in this study isthat the use of the  method of telling the story of the Prophet Muhammad is effective in the moral development of politeness of group B in PAUD IT Jabal Nur Aceh Besar. Based on  the results of the research above, in an effort to improve the quality of education, researchers put forward several suggestions as follows: 1. Schools can make this research as one of the information to develop children's morale 2. Teachers are expected to pay more attention in carrying out the teaching and learning process in order to create a conducive and pleasant atmosphere for children so that children are able to develop their abilities more optimally. 3. In the use of the storytelling method, teachers are expected to be more enthusiastic in capturing all obstacles in learning so that the results are maximized.
