Abstract

Interest in learning is a feeling of curiosity, learning, admiring or owning something. A student should have an interest that arises from within himself to learn. Learning is something that occurs naturally to gain knowledge or skills through teaching and learning activities. The formulation of the problem is How does the influence of pop-up book media in increasing the interest of fourth grade students at SD N Atong Montasik?. The research objective was to find out how the influence of the Fairtale pop-up book media in increasing the learning interest of fourth grade students at SD N Atong Montasik. The research method used in this study was experimental research because the symptoms were treated deliberately by the researcher, the type of experiment used was pre-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Based on the results of the research that has been done and based on data processing, it can be concluded that: The application of the Fairtale Pop Up Book learning model is effective in increasing interest in learning in class IV students at SD Negeri Atong Montasik, that tcount > ttable, namely 6.5 > 2, 14 so that the hypothesis in this study was accepted.
