EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN MEDIA ISPRING SUITE TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII MTsN 4 BANDA ACEH

Abstract

Based on the results of observations made by researchers in class VIII at MTsN 4 Banda Aceh, most students are often less motivated in the process of learning mathematics. The students' mathematical abilities still need to be improved, because the learning outcomes of 20 students out of 34 students are still relatively low. This study aims to find out: 1) Is the iSpring Suite media effective in improving the math skills of class VIII students at MTsN 4 Banda Aceh and 2) to find out the effectiveness of using the iSpring Suite media for improving the math skills of class VIII students at MTsN 4 Banda Aceh. The research method used in this research is experimental research, the type of experiment used is pre-experiment with the One-Group Pre-Test - Post-Test design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII, which consisted of 6 classes. The sample in this study were control and experimental class students, namely class VIII MTsN 4 Banda Aceh. The number of students who became the sample of this study were 32 students consisting of 22 female students and 10 male students. Data collection techniques in this study were based on tests and documentation. Based on the results of the research, it can be seen that iSpring Suite 9 learning in the experimental class is in the criteria of being quite effective in increasing the math skills of class VIII students at MTsN 4 Banda Aceh. So, it can be concluded that learning iSpring Suite 9 in the experimental class is effective in increasing students' mathematical abilities. The iSpring Suite media in this study was effective with sufficient criteria for improving students' mathematical abilities. Its effective average value is 70.43%.
