EXPLORING THE POTENTIAL USE OF INSTAGRAM TO FACILITATE STUDENTS IN READING COMPERHASION AT SMAN 5 BANDA ACEH

Abstract
This study aims to analyze how Instagram can be used as a facility in students' reading comprehension. This is done to find out whether Instagram features can be used in teaching reading and increasing students' reading creativity. The method used in this research is qualitative research. The research design is descriptive qualitative. The research instruments were interviews, observations and questionnaires. Data collection procedures are (1) interviewing students. (2). Observing students (3). Giving questionnaires to students. Data analysis techniques are (1). data reduction. (2). Data view. (3). Data conclusion. The results of the data analysis indicated that five critical success factors were found in the potential for using Instagram to facilitate students' reading comprehension. Instagram Improves Reading Comprehension, Strengths of Instagram in reading comprehension, Instagram as a facility for students' reading comprehension, Features of Instagram as a medium for reading comprehension, Instagram content as a medium for reading comprehension
