STUDI INTENSITAS KUNJUNGAN KE PERPUSTAKAAN TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN MATEMATIS MAHASISWA SERAMBI MEKKAH

This mathematical reasoning ability is useful for someone in the process of building and comparing ideas from various situations encountered, so that he can make the right decisions in solving his life's problems. Libraries have an important role in improving students' mathematical abilities, especially libraries that have a high intensity of user visits. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the intensity of visits to the library on the mathematical reasoning abilities of Serambi Mekka University students. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were 15 PGSD students. Analysis of research data using qualitative analysis techniques consisting of data collection, data reduction, display and data verification. The results of this study indicate that it was concluded that the intensity of visits to the library had an effect on the mathematical reasoning abilities of Serambi Mekkah University students, this can be seen from the results of the student reasoning test tests, it was found that students who got high were 10 students (70%), and those who got low scores as many as 5 people (30%). The conclusion of this study is that the intensity level of students visiting the library can improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities.
