PENGARUH LATIHAN MULTIBALL TENIS MEJA TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KETEPATAN PUKULAN FOREHAND DAN BACKHAND PADA SISWA KELAS VI-C SD NEGERI 24 BANDA ACEH

Abstract

One of the goals of multiball or multiball training is to improve the speed and accuracy of students' forehand and backhand strokes. Multiball is an important form of training program to increase the quality of the shot, because through this program the coach is able to design the speed of the ball while the athlete can feel the stroke being practiced. Multiball training is also very useful for increasing the speed of hitting or action in an athlete. In addition, it increases the endurance and fitness of the athlete. From this explanation, the problems to be studied are described in the form of detailed research questions, namely the effect of table tennis multiball training on the ability to hit Forehand and Backhand accuracy in Grade VI-c Students of SD Negeri 24 Banda Aceh. The research method used is the correlation method which aims to find whether there is a relationship and if there is, how close it is and whether or not the relationship is meaningful. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between multiball training and the accuracy of forehand backhand strokes, this was indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.88. The accuracy of forehand backhand strokes for students of SDN 24 Banda Aceh is in the very strong category. From the calculation of the coefficient of determination the contribution of multiball training to the ability to hit the forehand backhand is 77%. this shows that multibal training has an influence on grade 6c students of SDN Banda Aceh by 77% and the remaining 23% is influenced by other factors, from the calculation the t-count value is

7.29 while the t-table is 1.85. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of multiball training on the accuracy of forehand backhand strokes in grade 6c students of SDN 24 Banda Aceh.
