Abstract

This study aims to identify the values ​​contained in the Aceh Folklore Collection book and describe the relevance of the values ​​in the Aceh Folklore Collection book to learning Indonesian Language in Junior High School. This study uses a type of literature study (Library Research) with a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this study other than books, namely teachers and students of SMP Negeri 2 Banda Aceh. The results obtained are: 1) four data on educational values, 2) nine data on religious values, 3) twenty-four data on moral values, 4) four data on cultural values, and 5) twelve data on character education values. The relevance of the values ​​in the book Collection of Folklore in Indonesian language learning is that this book can be used as a learning medium for fairy tale material in schools. 1) 77.77% of respondents "Strongly Agree" this book can facilitate the learning process in schools. 2) 85.18% of respondents Strongly Agree” that the values ​​contained in the book “Kumpulan Aceh Folklore” can have a positive influence on students. 3) 74.07% of respondents "Agree" that they can learn from the book Collection of Aceh Folklore. 4) 79.62% of respondents “Strongly Agree” these values ​​can be useful for everyday life. 5) 86.11%, respondents "Strongly Agree" that learning can be more fun using this collection of Aceh Folklore Books.
