Abstract

The expected parental support in this problem is not only providing learning facilities for students, but parents must also monitor and assist students in participating in the physical education learning process in Blended learning. The aim is to determine the relationship between parental support and student motivation in participating in blended learning physical education after the Covid-19 pandemic at SD N 16 Banda Aceh City. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with interviews. The subjects of this study were 10 parents of students and 10 students of class VI SD N 16 Banda Aceh City. The results showed that: 1. Parents of sixth grade students at SD Negeri 16 Banda Aceh did not understand about blended learning applied by the school. 2. Parents of grade VI students of SD Negeri 16 Banda Aceh prepare everything needed by the school in participating in the blended learning provided by the school. 3. In general, parents of sixth grade students at SD Negeri 16 Banda Aceh do not like blended learning, because parents do not understand the lessons given so that learning for children is not optimal. Thus, it can be concluded that the parents of grade VI students of SD Negeri 16 Banda Aceh are very supportive of the learning provided by the school using the blended learning method.
