HUBUNGAN POWER OTOT LENGAN TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN SERVIS ATAS BOLA VOLI CLUB SMA NEGERI 9 BANDA ACEH

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of the relationship between arm muscle power and top service ability of the volleyball club at SMA Negeri 9 Banda Aceh. This study uses a descriptive correlational approach. This type of research is quantitative. The population in this study were 30 volleyball club players at SMA Negeri 9 Banda Aceh and the sample of this study was 30 volleyball club players at SMA Negeri 9 Banda Aceh, which were taken by total sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out by using a two-hand medicine ball put test and top service ability. Based on the results of data processing Testing Hypothesis 1 between the influence of arm muscle power (X) on upper service ability (Y), it is known that the tcount value is 5,63 > ttable 1.69 This means that there is a relationship between the effect of arm muscle power on upper service ability. While the effect of arm muscle power has a 96% relationship to service ability on volleyball and the remaining 4% is influenced by other factors. So it can be concluded that hypothesis 1 is accepted because it has a positive and significant effect.
