ANALISIS NILAI-NILAI PADA SYAER DIDONG GRUP MALIM DEWA KARYA CEH MUKTI

Abstract

Didong as one of the oral literature in the form of poetry and developments in the gayo community, didong is usually displayed by 2 groups that are intertwined, as oral literature that develops in society. Didong has social values, religious values, and educational values. Didong conveys messages to the community through gayo language poetry which is more easily accepted by the people of Central Aceh Regency. The values ​​contained in didong can be used as study and advice for listeners. The purpose of this study is to describe the social values, religious values ​​and educational values ​​contained in Syaer Didong. This research method is descriptive qualitative because the data obtained, by means of written data as well as those observed by the author, the location of the study was carried out with the didong Malim Dewa group, Kec. Lut Tawar Kab. Central Aceh, the data collection techniques were reading and taking notes, interviews and documentation, data analysis techniques, analyzing, describing and drawing conclusions about the values ​​in the didong lyrics. The discussion of social values ​​includes helping fellow community members and then kinship in the lyrics of Didong, a sense of kinship must always be maintained in the community, in the lyrics of social values, if you make a mistake in your speech, you should not talk about the disgrace of others, slandering and berating is an act that is not right, it will divide the people.
