INVESTIGATING ONLINE ASESSEMENT TAKEN BT THE EFL ENGLISH LECTURER AT UNIVERSITAS ABULYATAMA DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC (shrotcomings and solutions)

Abstract

This research focus on the investigation of the online assessment taken by the EFL English lecturer during the covid-19 pandemic. The aims of this research are to investigated the online assessment taken by lecturers' during covid-19 and to find out the shortcomings and solution by lecturers faced by taken online assessment during covid-19. The research design used in this study is descriptive qualitative research by using research instruments in the form of  interviews, and documentation. The participants in this study were 6 participants of English lecturer at Universitas Abulyatama .The lecturer were considered reliable as participants in this study because they had knew about online assessment. Based on the research results of interview, the lecturer perceived online assessment positively and negatively. The solutions of this obstacles is the lecturers do the communications with the students to make authentic value of assessment that student got.
