Abstract

In the 2021-2022 school year, most of the B3 group children at Khairani Lubok Batee Aceh Besar regarding fine motor skills when coloring activities, namely the ability to move fingers and wrists are less than optimal, because children are less enthusiastic when carrying out coloring activities. This can be seen from the daily lives of children who are still assisted by the teacher during the learning process. Phenomenon like this is a problem that needs to be immediately found an alternative solution, so that the child's fine motor skills develop well. The problem expressed in this study is whether the color gradation game is effective in the fine motor skills of children in group B3 at Khairani Lubok Batee Aceh Besar. This research is an experimental research, research data is taken through tests and documentation. The test data collection tools used were in the form of pretest and posttest instruments and grids containing aspects of developing children's fine motor skills. Based on the results of the study indicate that hypothesis testing using the right-hand side test with a significant level of a = 0.05 and db (number distribution) n-1 = 30-1 = 29, then the distribution list t with t (0.975) (29), so obtained t (0.975) (29 = 2.04, because tcount > ttable is 5.41 >\ 2.04. Thus the hypothesis of this study is because tcount meets the criteria, thus the hypothesis of this study Ha is accepted. So the hypothesis in this study can be concluded that using color grading games can develop the fine motor skills of children in the B3 group of Khairani Lubok Batee Aceh Besar Kindergarten.
