REPRESENTASI NILAI KEADILAN DALAM FILM ISTIRAHATLAH KATA-KATA DAN RELEVANSINYA TERHADAPA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA (ANALISIS SEMIOTIKA CHARLES SANDERS PEIRCE)

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the meaning of the hanging sign in the film Rest the Words in the context of Sign, Object, and the interpretant with the model developed by Charles Sanders Peirce, identify the value of justice contained in the film rest the words and describe the relevance of the value of justice in the film. film Take a word break for learning Indonesian. This study uses a type of literature study (Library Research) with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used the semiotics analysis technique of Charles Sanders Peirce. The results of this study, the researchers found signs based on the trichonomy of signs according to Charles Sanders Peirce including the sign, object, and interpretant contained in the film, rest words. The value of justice found in this study is the value of justice put forward by John Rawls which contains two principles of justice. First, the principle of equal freedom (equality libertu principle, secondly, the principle of difference and fair equality of opportunity. The relevance of the value of justice in the film, let the words rest in Indonesian language learning is that films can be used as learning media and can instill students' character and can motivate students that the value of justice is one of the values ​​that must be owned by everyone.In this study it can be concluded that in the film Rest the words contain the meaning of signs in the context of signs, objects, and interpretants developed by Charles Sanders Peirce, contains the value of fairness and relevance in the Indonesian language learning process.The researcher suggests that this research can be used as reference material in further research, especially research on value representation in semiotics.
