Abstract

Language skills have four components, namely: (1) listening skills (2) speaking skills (3) reading skills and (4) writing skills, these skills are interconnected with each other. Of the four language skills examined here are about writing skills. This research is motivated by the results of observations, that the story writing skills taught so far use fast writing tecniques, where students only write stories until they don’t pay attention to EBI ( Indonesian Spelling) well and truly, never before explained the elements in the story. When learning takes place berodom for students in learning to write stories so that the work produced students is not interesting and not good, which can be judged well in according to aspects and criteria that have been determined. This study aims to find out how to develop a short story writing worksheet for valid third grade student an SD Negeri 11 Banda Aceh. This reseach is a type of research and development (R&D) with the ADIIE model which includes five steps namely: the analyst, design, development, implementation. Data collection techniques are performed using validation techniques to test the feasibility of materia experts, and linguists. The results of this study are: has developed LKS writing short stories for third grade elementary school students, average ratings resulting from prodct validation are: material experts get an average of 3,55 with criteria (very feasible), content experts get an average of 3,80 wirth criteria (very feasible), design experts get an average of 3,50 wirh criteria (very feasible), and experts languages criteria (very feasible). Base one the results of the validation, in can be concluded that the works heet writing a short story is declared to be very valid and does not require significant remodeling so it is appropriate to be used as teaching material in learning.
