Based on interviews and information obtained by researchers, efforts are needed to develop learning media such as poster media for the conservation of living things to foster students' understanding of understanding in learning material provided by the teacher. The purpose of this is to find out the development of posters for the conservation of living things as learning media for grade IV elementary school students in learning science theme 6 sub-themes 3. Poster media is a neural media that presents facts, ideas that convey through words, figures and figures. The development model used in this study is a 4-D (Four D) development model which is a 4-D development model consisting of 4 stages namely Defign, Desaign, Develop, Dissiminate. This research was carried out in elementary school to conduct product trials and application of the products produced, in the form of posters for the conservation of living things. In this study, researchers used data collection instruments in the form of validation sheets and student questionnaire sheets. The data analyzed in this study are the results of validation from media expert lecturers and material expert lecturers, as well as student responses to poster learning media. The percentage of eligibility is 87.5% so the results are obtained with very decent criteria. Based on the results of the product trial questionnaire analysis on students obtained the percentage of respondents who gave responses yes (Yes) by 80%, while the percentage of respondents who gave responses not (T) were interested in by 16%. From the percentage results, it can be said that students are interested in using poster media in science learning in class IV of primary schools on theme 6 subtheme 3.
