Abstract

Based on the initial final analysis of the researcher, the analysis activities were carried out by examining problems during classroom learning activities, namely by examining the form of learning devices. The researcher chose SDN Kajhu Aceh Besar for analysis. At SDN Kajhu Aceh Besar the applicable curriculum is (K-13), and for the forms of learning tools that already exist in schools, the researchers decided to adjust them. Learning tools are modified by developing worksheets on certain materials to meet learning needs. This study aims to improve writing skills at the beginning of grade I SD Negeri Kajhu Aceh Besar. This type of research is research and development that refers to the 4-D model which in this study only reached the development stage. The research and development steps are the define, design, and develop stages. The research instrument was in the form of validity data analysis, analysis of learning outcomes, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that: the development of LKPD in early writing learning for class I SD Negeri Kajhu Aceh Besar the results of all validators have obtained overall results with a percentage of 90% with the category "Very Valid" for use in the learning process, complete learning outcomes 85% "Very Complete ”, the results of the descriptive hypothesis test H0 are accepted and affect student learning outcomes, meaning that LKPD is effectively used. .
