UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA MELALUI MEDIA BONEKA TANGAN PADA ANAK KELOMPOK B1 DI TKAL-MUHAJIRIN ACEH BESAR

Playing with hand puppets should be fun and talking to children should be fun too. For kindergarten-age children, learning to speak is important to develop self-confidence in children. The formulation of the problem in this study is: Can the use of hand puppet media improve speaking skills in group B1 students of Al Muhajirin Kindergarten Aceh Besar. In general, this study aims to determine the improvement of speaking skills with hand puppet media in group B1 students of Al Muhajirin Kindergarten Aceh Besar. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The instrument used is an observation sheet, the number of samples is 15 children, and 8 boys and 7 girls the data were analyzed using the percentage formula. The results showed that in pre-cycle activities with all indicators there was a percentage with the category of not developing 30% (5 children), starting to develop with a score of 35% (5 children), developing as expected with a score of 25% (4 children) and developing very good 10% (1 child). In the first cycle the number of presentations has not developed, at the start of developing with 21 children (2%), while developing as expected 11 children (70%) and in very well developed 4 children (28%) . In cycle II, the percentage is no longer in the undeveloped category and is starting to develop, the developing category as expected is 42% (6 children) and the very well developed category is 58% (9 children). Thus, it can be concluded that there is an increase in children's speaking skills through the media of hand puppets in Group B1 TK Al Muhajirin Aceh Besar in the second cycle.
