PEMANFATAN LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 72 BANDA ACEH

The use of environment-based learning media is an activity to create a material delivery tool to students. the media is not only understood as a teaching aid, but also as a carrier of information or teaching messages to students. Media can make learning activities more interesting, interactive, and fun so that indirectly the quality of learning can be improved for the better. The formulation of the problem to be investigated is how is the use of the school environment towards the use of instructional media for grade IV students at SD Negeri 72 Banda Aceh?. The purpose of the study was to determine the use of the school environment towards the use of instructional media for grade IV SD 72 Banda Aceh. This research is a descriptive study, with inductive or qualitative analysis techniques, and qualitative research results emphasize the meaning rather than generalization. The subjects in this study were all 72 Banda Aceh State Elementary School students, while the object of this study was using fourth grade students with 18 students. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis, the presentation of data the results of this study using the percentage formula. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that teachers in 72 Banda Aceh elementary schools have never utilized the school environment as a learning medium. Therefore sometimes students are happy with the school environment media, and there are also students who have never been happy to use the school environment media. This can be seen from the results of observations and interviews that are all indicators in this study that the use of the environment as a source of learning in learning in schools so as to stimulation of learning for students in carrying out learning in school.
