Abstract

Math is an essential science in life because it is useful, both in everyday life and asa language and tool in the development of science and technology.Mathematics is a study that has an abstract subject and is built through a deductive reasoning process, which is that the truth of a concept is obtained as a logical result of its acceptance and the relation between the concept of mathematics is so strong and clear.In the 21st century this mathematical skill that students must have is one of the more reflective thinking ability. It was the ability to link the knowledge he gained to solve a new problem relating to his old knowledge to a conclusion The study aims to describe the student's reflective ability of solving a math problem with a cultural context based on cognitive forces in a linear equations system of three variables in a world 2 day based on a nisa model (2013). The subject in this study is two x graders with reflective cognitive abilities. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach in describing reflective thinking ability. Data collection takes place through tests, interviews, and documentaries and then the data is analyzed using miles and huberman's qualitative analyses of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions.The conclusion shows the student's reflective ability of solving a math problem with a cultural context based on the cognitive forces in the big man 2 days is very good because it has satisfied as many as nine out of ten reflective thinking indicators. Suggestions for teachers to always practice a student's reflective thinking ability in the learning process
