ANALISIS POLA ASUH ORANG TUA TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN KEMANDIRIAN ANAK KELOMPOK B1 DI TK CUT MEUTIA BANDA ACEH

Abstract

The right parenting style can develop independence in children. Therefore, it is important to instill independence in children from an early age because by training children to be independent, children will not easily depend on others and can grow into children who have strong souls and form superior personalities. For this reason, parenting is very influential in the development of independence in children. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of parenting on the development of independent children in group B1 at TK Cut Meutia Banda Aceh and to determine the efforts of parents in developing the development of independence in children. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach, the data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of data analysis showed that the analysis of parenting patterns on the development of independence of children in group at TK Cut Meutia Banda Aceh, there were several parenting patterns applied by parents to children. Among them, four parents use democratic parenting, in which the child is given the opportunity by the parents to do things by themselves, but the parents continue to monitor them from a far. Three of the children’s parents use authoritarian parenting, where children only follow what their parents tell them to do. And four parents of children use permissive parenting, where parents give full freedom to children to do things on their own, without parental supervision.
