The social development of children in Group B-1 in TK Negeri 1 Banda Aceh is still relatively low, this is due to the lack of precise methods used in the teaching and learning process, this causes students to be less active, less enthusiastic in participating in learning activities, so that social development is not optimal. . So it encourages the author to develop it through the storytelling method using props. The storytelling method is one of the methods used to develop children's social skills. Because by choosing the right method, it can support the success of children's social development. This study aims to increase social development through the storytelling method using visual aids for group B-1 children in Kindergarten 1 Banda Aceh. This type of research is Classroom Action Research which is focused on classroom situations or commonly called Classroom Action Research. Data collection tools consist of observation and documentation. Classroom action research data analysis was carried out in a series of steps with 2 cycles, each cycle having one meeting. One cycle consists of five stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing, reflecting, and planning improvements. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion in cycle I and cycle II, it can be concluded that the storytelling method using visual aids can improve the social development of children in group B-1 TK Negeri 1 Banda Aceh. This can be seen from the increase in the social development of children, children who very well developed (BSB) in the first cycle only 2 people or 12%, but in the second cycle there was a very significant increase reaching 93% or 16 children, while developing as expected (BSH) in the cycle only 1 person or 6% .
