The skill of conducting variation is a teaching skill that is determined by the knowledge and creativity of the teacher. Initial data from observations in the components of the use of media and teaching materials experienced problems. The formulation of the problem of this research is how are the skills of teachers in conducting learning variations in class IV at SD Negeri Kajhu, Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar and what are the obstacles faced by teachers in conducting variations in learning in class IV SDN Kajhu, Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar. The purpose of this study was to determine the skills of teachers in conducting learning variations in class IV at SDN Kajhu, Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar and to find out the obstacles faced by teachers in conducting variations in learning in class IV at SD Negeri Kajhu, Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The research was carried out for 1 week at Kajhu State Elementary School. The research subjects were fourth grade teachers at SDN Kajhu. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the teacher is quite skilled in conducting variations of learning with various methods and media during the learning process. Constraints faced by teachers in the provision of learning variations are the different character of students and the lack of media that can be used by teachers in the application of learning variations due to the limited availability of facilities and infrastructure provided by schools.
