Abstract

The low quality of education in Indonesia is clear that there is a serious problem in improving at various levels of education, both formal and informal education. One of the efforts to improve students' problem solving skills is to develop cooperative models and media in learning. From the problems that arise at SDN 69 Banda Aceh, a solution that is in accordance with the principle of learning that focuses on students to be more active , making students active in a group atmosphere which aims to have social interaction between teachers and students, students with teachers and students with students, so that learning is not teacher-centered, but student-centered. Including SD Negeri 69 Banda Aceh for class VI which has been observed, students do not reach the predetermined Classical Completeness indicator (70). This study aims to find out how to develop dice media based on the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative model on the ability to solve the problem of adding integers at SDN 69 Banda Aceh. The research carried out is a type of research and development or Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model development method (Assume, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The type of data obtained from the results of this study is qualitative data in the form of opinions from validators and then interpreted into quantitative data in the form of product percentage scores. The target population in this research are students of SD Negeri 69 Banda Aceh, which is precisely Jalan Bayeun, Kopelma Darussalam Village, Syiah Kuala District. grade 6 semester 2, namely in the even academic year. As well as the sample is class VI SDN 69 Banda Aceh which is because SdN 69 Banda Aceh students only have 1 class with a total of 27 students consisting of 15 female students and 13 male students. Based on the results of the analysis of the development of the Dadu media based on the TGT model, it was found that the validation of the material experts was 100% in the very feasible category, the results of the media expert validation were 90% in the very feasible category. Students' problem solving ability increased with the average value of students exceeding the KKM with an average value of 72.59, it can be seen that the development of students' problem solving abilities after using TGT-based dice media developed as expected.
