Abstract

Some students still find it difficult to shoot in the right direction. To overcome this, one of them can be given target game treatment. This study aims to determine the effect of target games on shooting skills in soccer games in class IX students at MTsN 2 Aceh Selatan. This research is an experimental one group pretest-posttest design with 12 treatments. The subjects of this study were 23 students of MTsN 2 Aceh Selatan. shooting ability is measured using Bobby Charlton's instrument proposed by, Mielke (2007:76). Based on the analysis of the results of the research and discussion, the T value of Significance is 0.01 or less than 0.05, so there is a significant difference. The magnitude or coefficient of the T test is 0.01. The mean value of the pretest results was 82.61 while the posttest accuracy increased to 115.56. Thus, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is an effect of the target game on the shooting ability of the students of MTsN 2 South Aceh.
