Abstract

Based on the analysis of researchers conducted in schools in the learning process they still use manuals, and have never developed digital teaching materials with a STEM approach. Therefore, one of the efforts that can be done is to develop teaching materials that can support students' knowledge and are designed to be able to think at a high level in solving problems in everyday life, so that researchers take the initiative to develop STEM-based integrated digital-based thematic teaching materials. This study aims to develop STEM-based teaching materials and to test the feasibility of STEM-based teaching materials products according to expert judgment. This type of research is research and development that refers to the ADDIE model which in this research only reaches the development stage. The research and development steps are analysis, product design, and product development. The research instrument is a questionnaire scale with four categories. The results showed that: the development of STEM-integrated digital-based thematic teaching materials with development that included 12 aspects of IT validation and 11 aspects of material substance validation in the developed teaching materials, the feasibility of STEM-integrated digital-based thematic teaching materials assessed by IT experts and materials included in the very feasible criteria (92.13%). Thus, it can be concluded that STEM integrated digital-based thematic teaching materials can be used in the learning process in elementary school.
