PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN SISTEM PERNAPASAN HEWAN BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL KELAS V SD SIEM ACEH BESAR

Abstract

Media is very necessary in learning to support students in stimulating the ability to solve various thematic problems. The limitations of the media require teachers to develop media based on local wisdom so that it can be used in thematic learning. The purpose of this study was to develop learning media based on local wisdom on animal respiratory system material and to measure the feasibility of learning media based on local wisdom on animal respiratory system material for class V SD Negeri Siem Aceh Besar. This research is a research development or Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model, including analysis of development design, implementation and evaluation. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using quantitative data analysis techniques and also qualitative analysis. The results showed that: (1) The development of learning media for animal respiratory systems based on local wisdom adopted the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. However, for the development of media based on local wisdom, researchers are only limited to the development stage and have been modified. (2) The results of developing learning media for the animal respiratory system based on local wisdom are suitable for use from the aspect of the validity of RPP experts, material experts and media experts. Thus the learning media for the animal respiratory system based on local wisdom that was developed is feasible to be applied in class V SD Negeri Siem Aceh Besar.
