Abstract

Intrapersonal intelligence is the ability of children to know themselves and be responsible for their
lives to be confident and independent. The formulation of the problem in this study How to increase
intrapersonal intelligence in children in group A Kindergarten Save The Kids Banda Aceh through
Cooking Class learning activities? The purpose of this study was to improve children's
intrapersonal intelligence through Cooking Class learning in group A children of Save The Kids
Kindergarten Banda Aceh. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The
instruments used were observation and documentation sheets, the number of samples was 18
children and the data were analyzed using the percentage formula. The results showed an overview
of children's activities that in the first cycle the percentage with the undeveloped category was 19%
(3 children) the category began to develop 64% (12 children) the category developed as expected
11% (2 children) and the category developed very well 5% (1 child). While in the second cycle
there is no undeveloped category, starting to develop 2.5% (0.5 children), the developing category
as expected is 12.5% (2.5 children) very well developing category 85% (15 children). Based on
these data, it can be concluded that cooking class learning can increase children's intrapersonal
intelligence.
