Abstract

Reading is an activity following a linear series of writings. Experience is an important aspect of the reading process. Children who have a lot of experience will have a wider opportunity to develop understanding of vocabulary in reading. Formulation of the problem in this research. What are the activities carried out in training early reading skills in group B at Kindergarten Tut Wuri Handayani Samahani Aceh Besar. How to describe the ability to read beginning in group B at Kindergarten Tut Wuri Handayani Samahani Aceh Besar. What were the obstacles faced by the teacher in teaching beginning reading skills to group B children at Tut Wuri Handayani Kindergarten Samahani Aceh Besar. The purpose of this study was to see an overview of the activities given to group B children at Tut Wuri Handayani Kindergarten, Samahgani, Aceh Besar. To see the ability to read early in group B children at Kindergarten Tut Wuri Handayani Samahgani Aceh Besar. This is to find out the obstacles faced by the teacher with the beginning reading ability of group B children in Kindergarten Tut Wuri Handayani Samahgani Aceh Besar. This type of research is qualitative research. The instrument used is interviews, the number of samples is 1 principal and 2 class teachers. The results showed that pre-reading is very important for early childhood which will be the initial foundation in reading. Teachers who teach at Kindergarten Tut Wuri Handayani Aceh Besar, really understand about children's reading development and also teachers at Tut Wuri Handayani Aceh Besar Kindergarten always encourage children by providing creative media that can attract children's attention in pre-reading so that teachers provide reading learning start by using the play system while learning.
