Abstract

The learning process held in a formal education environment or school is nothing but
intended to direct changes in students in a planned manner both in terms of knowledge,
skills and attitudes. Learning activities in formal educational institutions are the most basic
activities in the entire educational process and cannot be separated from the role of teachers
as teaching staff, so that in formal educational institutions teaching and learning activities
are interrelated to achieve educational goals. The development of Information and
Communication Technology has made a major contribution to humans in various fields,
including education. The purpose of this study was to find out how the technique of giving
assignments in online-based learning at SD Negeri 57 Banda Aceh, and the obstacles faced by
teachers in giving assignments to online-based learning at SD Negeri 57 Banda Aceh. The
type of research used was descriptive quantitative. . The results showed that based on the
results of the questionnaire/questionnaire and also interviews with class teachers, starting
from class I teachers to class VI teachers who had been obtained from all the teachers studied
at SD Negeri 57 Banda Aceh. given by each teacher with an average answer of 100% or with
the criteria (Always). From these results, the technique of giving assignments in online-based
learning is very helpful for teachers in overcoming learning in the midst of a pandemic.
