Abstract

Interpersonal ability is the ability of children to get along or relate well to their environment,
so that children can be accepted in their environment / group, according to the rules
contained therein. Interpersonal intelligence in children does not just appear. To develop
social skills in children requires practice. For this reason, as an educator, it is necessary to
provide social skills training to children from an early age. The formulation of the problem
is: Is Media Puzzle effective in increasing Interpersonal Intelligence in group B children of
the Alam Pelangi IT Kindergarten Banda Aceh. " The aim is to find out the effectiveness of
Puzzle Media in Improving Interpersonal Intelligence in Group B Children of IT Alam
Pelangi Kindergarten Banda Aceh. This research is a type of research and development or
Research and Development (R&D). Researchers conduct research and development of
learning resources in the form of puzzle games. The feasibility level of this puzzle game
learning resource is known through validation by material experts, validation by media
experts, validation by teachers and trial use by children. Based on the results of the
validation of learning media based on puzzle development by teachers V1-V3 it can be seen
from the number of scores on the statement criteria 1-11 in the questionnaire that has been
given a validator to be assessed. The overall score is 107 with a percentage of 99.07%
validity. It is stated that the puzzle development media is declared "appropriate" to be used
for learning media in stimulating interpersonal intelligence in children aged 5-6 years. Based
on the results of the learning media test with puzzle media, children reached the category
(BSB) Very Well Developed with an average score of all assessments reaching 99.07% so that
it was stated that the interpersonal intelligence of children was very well developed.
