Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is how to cultivate the cooperation abilities of group B children in Kindergarten Siti Maryam, what are the activities to stimulate the children of group B in Kindergarten Siti Maryam and what are the obstacles that are found in cultivating the cooperation abilities of group B children of TK Siti Maryam? This study used a descriptive qualitative research method, namely the data collected was in the form of words, pictures, not numbers. This research was conducted at Siti Maryam Kindergarten, which is located in Simpang Tiga District, Pidie Regency. This research was conducted from 3 to 8 July 2020 with the subject of 2 teachers at Siti Maryam Kindergarten. The research data was conducted using interview techniques. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the cultivation of the cooperation ability of the children of Siti Maryam Kindergarten group B is still not optimal, children are still dependent on their parents, and cannot adapt to the surrounding environment, activities to stimulate group B children of Siti Maryam Kindergarten are; routine mutual cooperation activities every Saturday, games that involve groups and the obstacles that are obtained in cultivating the ability. The cooperation of group B children at Kindergarten Siti Maryam is that children who cannot interact with their peers can show activeness in activities carried out at school. It is recommended that teachers improve the learning they manage, and develop professional abilities (able to develop themselves or develop knowledge) and maximize the inculcation of cooperation abilities in Group B children of Siti Maryam Kindergarten.
