SURVEI TINGKAT KEBUGARAN JASMANI SISWA SMP NEGERI 1 TELUK DALAM KABUPATEN SIMEULUE PADA MASA COVID-19

During the Covid-19 pandemic, many student activities tend to be passive. The purpose of passive
activity in this case is activity that tends to be sedentary, does not move much, and tends to be light
or not expend a lot of energy, this is indicated by work activities carried out by sitting and being
done at home so that it affects students' physical fitness. The formulation of the problem in this
study is: How is the Physical Fitness of SMP Negeri 1 Teluk Dalam students in Simeulue Regency
during the Covid-19 Pandemic Period. This study aims to find out: How big is the level of physical
fitness of students at SMP Negeri 1 Teluk Dalam, Simeulue Regency during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The approach used in this research is quantitative with survey method. The subjects in
this study were 18 students. The data collection technique used was the Indonesian Physical
Fitness Test (TKJI) for children aged 13-15 years. The data analysis technique used is the
percentage formula. Based on the results of the research above, it can be seen that the physical
fitness of the students of SMP Negeri 1 Teluk Dalam, Simeulue Regency during the covid-19
period was in the very good category at 0% (0 students), good at 16.67% (3 students), the medium
category is 55.55% (10 students), the less category is 27.78% (3 students) and the very poor
category is 0% (0 students). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the physical fitness of
the students of SMP Negeri 1 Teluk Dalam, Simeulue Regency is categorized as moderate and
poor.
