Abstract

Volleyball game is one of the sports activities that are very popular with people in the city and in the
countryside, in the primary education environment to college, so that volleyball is very suitable for
the purpose of increasing physical fitness. which is the formulation of the problem in this study,
namely: "Is There Any Effect of Pull-Up Exercise on Smash Results in Volleyball Athletes Crean PU
Banda Aceh". The purpose of this study was to find out: "The Effect of Pull-Up Exercise on Smash
Results in Crean PU Banda Aceh Volleyball Athletes". The method used in this research is the
experimental method (experimental). The sample in this study were women's volleyball players Crean
PU totaling 10 athletes. Based on the results of the study, the average value of pretest was 2.6 and
posttest was 3.0 and standard deviation was 0.699 and posttest was 0.667. Based on the calculation of the data above, it is obtained that the t count is 2.502 while the t table with degrees of freedom 10-2 (df
= N-2) at a significance level of 0.05 is 1.85955. So this means that t count is greater than t table,
thus it can be stated that there is a significant effect of pull-up training on smash results in crean
volleyball athletes at PU Banda Aceh.
