Abstract

In learning to count, various ways are needed so that children are not bored in learning and
are in accordance with the abilities of students. The game is one way that can be used to
channel messages from the sender to the recipient so that it can stimulate the thoughts,
feelings, and interests and attention of students in such a way that the teaching and learning
process occurs. The formulation of the problem is: 1. What is the description of the
development of early childhood numeracy in PAUD Ibnu Sina Aceh Besar? 2. What are the
activities carried out in training the development of numeracy for early childhood at PAUD
Ibnu Sina Aceh Besar? 3. What are the obstacles faced by teachers in developing numeracy
for early childhood in PAUD Ibnu Sina Aceh Besar? 2. Knowing what activities are carried
out in training the development of numeracy for early childhood in PAUD Ibnu Sina Aceh
Besar. 3. Knowing what obstacles teachers face in developing early childhood numeracy at
PAUD Ibnu Sina Aceh Besar. The research method used in this research is descriptive
qualitative. The subjects of this study were 2 parents of children. The results showed that:
The stages of children's mathematical abilities greatly increased because children wanted to
learn in developing mathematical abilities. The problems that exist when learning takes place
are children who do not want to listen and do not want to be silent in learning. From the
results of observations made by researchers at PAUD Ibnu Sina Aceh Besar, the results
showed that the development of children's mathematical abilities was in the BB category 1
child (10%), MB 1 child (10%), BSH 3 children (30%) and BSB 5 children (50%).
