ANALISIS PERKEMBANGAN SOSIAL-EMOSIAL PADA ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN DI TK AL-WASHLIYAH BANDA ACEH

Abstract

Emotional social development is a child's sensitivity to understand the feelings of others
when interacting in everyday life. To develop or educate children's social-emotional
intelligence, they are given a stimulus through games that are in accordance with the level of
children's social-emotional development. The objectives are 1. To know the socio-emotional
development of early childhood in Al-Washliyah Kindergarten Banda Aceh. 2. Knowing the
activities carried out in training the socio-emotional development of early childhood in AlWashliyah Kindergarten Banda Aceh. 3. Knowing the obstacles faced by teachers in teaching
the socio-emotional development of early childhood in Al-Washliyah Kindergarten Banda
Aceh. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of
this study were 2 classroom teachers. The results showed that: Children's social-emotional
abilities are developing well, as described above, children are able to play with their peers,
do not get angry easily when playing together, wait their turn in playing game tools.
Children's emotional social activities are taught in the learning process because from the
beginning of learning we have taught emotional social skills to children, for example
teachers guiding children in playing together, teaching children how to respect other
friends. Constraints in children's emotional social skills faced by teachers in applying
emotional social skills to children are because children have 3 environments, school
environment, play environment, and family environment. When the child has been taught to
be responsible but arrives at home it is not assisted or continued by the child's
family/parents, perhaps because of the busyness of the parents.
