Pengembangan Media Wayang Planel untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar PKN Pada Kelas II Negeri 72 Kota Banda Aceh

Abstract

Learning activities in class II show that the use of media is still very less used by teachers.
Some students looked very bored following the lesson and did not pay attention when the
lesson took place. So that the media used for learning must be improved to attract the
attention of students in learning PKN. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether
the development of wayang planel media can improve PKN learning outcomes? The purpose
of this study was to determine (1) Improving the learning outcomes of PKN by using wayang
planel (2) Develop wayang planel media in PKN learning. This research uses development
research with ADDIE method. Sources of validation consist of material experts, design
experts and classroom teachers, learning outcomes using questions given to all students.
The results of the research on the development of the flannel puppet media obtained the
results of expert validation of the feasibility percentage of 81.25% in the very feasible
category, the results of media expert validation of 74.26% in the appropriate category, and
teacher questionnaire validation with a score of 86% in the very feasible category. Based
on this, the wayang planel media is in a very feasible category and can be used as a learning
medium, and student learning outcomes increase with an average value of 81 which exceeds
the student's KKM limit, it can be seen that the development of wayang planel media can
improve student learning outcomes . Suggestions in this study for researchers can develop
planel media with other themes so as to improve learning outcomes, for readers to carry out
further development of planel puppet media so that innovative products can be produced for
use in learning. Teachers can apply planel media in learning and pay more attention to
students so that all students can graduate with scores above the KKM.
