Abstract

The development of LKPD with the CTL approach is a learning concept in
which the teacher presents real-world situations into the classroom and
encourages students to apply them in everyday life. The results of the interview
showed that at SDN 16 Banda Aceh there was no use of CTL-based LKPD. The
use of LKPD that has been used so far only displays questions about
evaluation theory and is not associated with everyday life. This study aims: (1)
To produce LKPD Based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) which is
valid to be used in Science Learning for Water Cycle Material Class V SDN 16
Banda Aceh. (2) To find out the effectiveness of using LKPD Based on
Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in Natural Science Learning for Class
V Water Cycle Theory at SDN 16 Banda Aceh. This research is included in
research and development (R&D). This study adapts the ADDIE development
procedure which consists of 5 stages of development, namely Analysis, Design,
Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques
used are questionnaires and test questions. The research data were analyzed
using quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. The results of the
research in the form of validation results found that the development of LKPD
Based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) was valid to be used in
Science Learning for Water Cycle Material Class V SDN 16 Banda Aceh. The
results of the implementation of LKPD based on Contextual Teaching and
Learning (CTL) classically reached a percentage of 80% of the specified, thus it
can be concluded that the development of LKPD Based on Contextual Teaching
and Learning (CTL) is effective in learning science and water cycle theory for
Class V SDN 16 Banda Aceh.
