Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy
Teacher learning in growing literacy
in Indonesian subjects during learning
online in the Covid-19 era and to find out student responses
on the learning strategies used by the teacher. Type
This research is a qualitative research approach
descriptive. The instrument used in this study
are interview guidelines and questionnaire sheets. Results
research shows that during covid-19 the form of
strategies used by teachers to foster literacy
reading and writing in Indonesian subjects when
online learning in the Covid-19 era at two schools
conduct two-way learning, namely online and online
face to face. Online teachers use media
web-based, namely using the e-learning application, Google
classroom, and WhatsApp. Face-to-face activities
learning is only carried out on students who do not
have learning facilities such as android, laptop, and
computer. Student responses to the use of strategies
learning done by teachers, 90% of students or 148
students say that online learning
boring and learning very difficult to understand.
Constraints faced when learning online from 163
students, 87% or 142 students are constrained by not having
android or personal computer, limited internet quota,
network is difficult to reach, and students are constrained cannot
communicate directly with the teacher. As for the benefits
perceived by students from 163 students, 95% or 155 students
During this online learning, students become more
proficient in using technology and students can be more
close to family.
