IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER BERBUDAYA ACEH DAN ISLAMI DI PAUD IK NURUL QURAN ACEH BESAR

Abstract

Character education and cultural introduction from an early age really need to be done, especially
the Acehnese culture which is synonymous with Islam. This is to improve the moral crisis that is
afflicting young people and to maintain and preserve Acehnese culture so that it is not destroyed
by the rapid development technology and the influence foreign cultures. In this study, the problem
is limited to knowing the Acehnese cultural program implemented in PAUD Islam. Aceh,
introduction food and mention of names for relatives calling. And what kind of implementation of
the planting Islamic character values is integrated with Aceh's local culture. The purpose of this
study was to find out what character programs exist in Islamic PAUD Nurul Quran Character
and how the form of implementation character program in building character children with
Acehnese and Islamic culture is. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, subject this
research are 20 children and 5 teachers. The results obtained from this study are that in building
Islamic character values and loving local culture in early childhood, it takes an habit, example and
continuous action from the environment, both family and school environment. The conclusion from
results of this study is that the school's efforts in implementing character education programs for
early childhood should be further strengthened and improved in order to prepare optimal quality
human resources from an early age because the success a nation is not only determined wealth
natural resources, but is determined by also quality its human resources.
