Abstract

Early childhood is a child who has just been born until the age of 6 years. This age is a very decisive age in the formation of a child's character and personality. This age is the end where children experience very rapid growth and development, an early age is referred to as the golden age. Therefore, this study aims to determine the role of teachers in introducing nutritious food to increase children's immunity during the Covid'19 pandemic. Based on the results of research conducted through interviews with PAUD teachers, Ibnu Sina Barabong, the results obtained are in explaining nutritious food to children in terms of the shape, color and name of the food. According to Mrs. Misna, it is important to provide understanding to children that consuming nutritious food is highly recommended at their age to increase immunity. The conclusions obtained from the results of interviews conducted by researchers regarding the role of teachers in introducing nutritious food to children online or directly by bringing examples of fruits and vegetables and with recommendations for washing hands before consuming food can be said to be generally good. It is proven by children who have no difficulty understanding what the teacher is saying. The role of the child's parents is also important in supporting the introduction of nutritious food to children by providing children with food cooked directly from home. This motivates children not to snack outside. This treatment aims to make children healthier, smarter and creative.
