Abstract

This research is entitled "The Effect of Flexibility Exercise on the Results of Dollyo Chagi Kicks in Taekwondo Athletes Dojang Phoenix Golden Banda Aceh". Chagi is considered the fastest, simplest, and most effective kick to carry out attacks and it has been observed that the dollyo kick technique is still weak, stiff and inefficient so that the dollyo chagi kick ability is not maximal, especially for athletes. is a taekwondo dojang athlete Phoenix Golden Golden Banda Aceh who meets the requirements of 7 people. the instruments used are pretest and posttest. The results showed that flexibility training had an effect on dollyo chagi kicks in Phoenix Golden Banda Aceh taekwondo dojang athletes. It is intended that the results of the initial test (pretest) with an average of 20.57 before being given flexibility training for 16 meetings then increased in the final test (posttest) to 29.86. This is reinforced by regression showing that the significance is 0.856 or p > 0.5 so that Ho is rejected. Thus it can be concluded that: “There is a significant effect of flexibility training on the results of dollyo chagi kicks in the taekwondo athlete Dojang Phoenix Golden Banda Aceh.
