Abstract

Creativity is an individual mental process in giving birth to ideas, processes, methods or new products that are effective and are imaginative, succession, discontinuity and differentiation that are effective in various fields for solving a problem. The formulation of the problem in this research is focused on (1) How is the process of making used creative media for practicing creativity in children, (2) How to use used creative media, and (3) What is the level of validity of used goods creative media according to experts. The research objective is to find out (1) the process of making creative media, (2) the use of creative media used goods, and (3) the level of validity of creative media used goods by experts. This type of research is R&D (Research and Development), the location of research at TK Cut Meutia Banda Aceh. The instrument used was a media validation sheet by the teacher and the data were analyzed using a Likert scale percentage formula. The results of this study indicate the validity level of creative media of each validator, namely, (1) validator B1 92.5%, (2) B2 validator 85%, (3) B3 validator 90%, (4) validator B4 80%, ( 5) validator B5 90%, and (6) validator B6 97.5%. Based on these data it can be concluded that the development of creative media used goods to train the creativity of children in Cut Meutia Banda Aceh Kindergarten is appropriate to use.
