Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe how the understanding of the concept of geometry on student achievement in SMA Negeri 1 Darul Imarah. The type of research used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation sourced from valid data. The subjects in this study were class XII students at SMA Negeri 1 Unggul Darul Imarah which were used as research objects. The research subjects were selected by considering the subject's ability to communicate or express their thoughts. report cards according to the categories that have been obtained from the results of research on understanding the concept of geometry. The report card value can be said to be the value of student learning outcomes obtained from students' daily scores in participating in the mathematics learning process both from tests and exams at the end of the semester, so that the report card scores obtained on average are above the KKM or can be said to be complete. Thus, the higher the understanding and mastery of the material and learning achievement, the higher the level of learning success.
