Beginning reading is reading that is taught in an integrated manner, which focuses on recognizing letters and words, connecting them with sound. The aim is to find out how to improve children's early reading skills with letter card media in group B at PAUD Tulus Bunda Aceh Besar. The formulation of the problem is how to improve children's early reading skills with letter card media in group B at PAUD Tulus Bunda Aceh Besar. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The instrument used is an observation sheet, the number of samples is 16 children and the data is analyzed using the percentage formula. The results showed that through the media letter cards could improve the early reading ability of group B children in PAUD Tulus Bunda Aceh Besar. The results showed that in the description of the observation of children's activities in the first cycle the number of acquisitions was in the undeveloped category of 46.66% (7 children), the category began to develop 33.33% (5 children) the developed category was as expected 13.33% (2 children), and the category developed very well. 6.66% (1 child). In the second cycle there was no undeveloped category, 1 child (6.66%) started to develop, the developing category as expected was 33.33% (5 children) very well developed category was 60% (9 children). The use of letter card media can improve children's early reading skills.
