PERSEPSI ORANG TUA PESERTA DIDIK TERHADAP MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN JASMANI, OLAHRAGA, DAN KESEHATAN DI SD NEGERI 2 NEUHUN KABUPATEN ACEH BESAR

Abstract

Many perceptions of parents still do not know the function of physical education broadly. They still think narrowly in terms of PJOK as a lesson that will only affect the physical. They do not yet know the function of complex physical education even though students at SD Negeri 2 Neuhun Aceh Besar District seem very enthusiastic about Physical Education learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the students 'parents' perceptions of physical education and health subjects in SD Negeri 2 Neuhun, Aceh Besar District. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using survey methods and only uses one variable, so this research does not formulate a hypothesis first. Sources of data in this study are divided into primary data that is data created by researchers for the specific purpose of solving the problem being handled. Data is collected by the researcher directly from the first source or the place of the research object. The first source in this study is the whole parents of class V students of SD Negeri 2 Neuhun, Aceh Besar District, totaling 17 people (students are represented by one of their parents). Based on the results of the study, it was found that the parents' perceptions of students towards physical education and health subjects in SD Negeri 2 Neuhun Aceh Besar District stated that in the very good category there were 7 respondents or 41.18% and in the good category there were 10 respondents or 58.82 %. Thus the students 'parents' perceptions of physical education and health subjects in SD Negeri 2 Neuhun, Aceh Besar District are generally included in the very good and good category.
