Abstract

The research entitled "The Effect of the Two Stay-Two Stray Type Cooperative Learning Model on Science Learning Outcomes of Grade IV Students at SD Negeri Kajhu Aceh Besar" aims to determine the application of the Two Stay-Two Stray type cooperative learning model to Science learning for Grade IV Students at SD Negeri Kajhu Aceh Besar and the effect of applying the Two Stay-Two Stray type cooperative learning model on the Science learning outcomes of Class IV SD Negeri Kajhu Aceh Besar. This research method uses a quantitative approach to the type of experimental research. The population in this study were all Grade IV students at SD Negeri Kajhu Aceh Besar for the 2021-2022 academic year, totaling 60 students and girls consisting of 2 classes. The sample in this study was students in class IV-B consisting of 28 students as the experimental class and students in class IV-A consisting of 28 students as the control class. Data collection is done by testing. The results showed that the use of the Two Stay-Two Stray cooperative learning model had an effect on student learning outcomes in science learning for fourth grade students at SD Negeri Kadju Aceh Besar. This is indicated by the value, namely tcount = 2.28 while ttable = 2.00, meaning that tcount > ttable or 2.28 > 2.00. This means that the science learning outcomes of students who are taught using the Time Token Areand type cooperative learning model (experimental class) are better than the science learning outcomes of students who use conventional learning (control class).
