The learning ability of students at SDN 23 Banda Aceh is not optimal for alternative energy material. Therefore, various efforts are needed to realize better student learning outcomes. One way researchers propose to attract students' attention during the learning process is by using windmill media. This research aims to develop valid, effective windmill media in alternative energy material for class III students at SD Negeri 23 Banda Aceh and assess the positive impact of developing windmill media on improving learning outcomes for class III students at SD Negeri 23 Banda Aceh in understanding energy material. alternative. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) AND ADDIE model developed by Dick and Carry. The subjects of this research consisted of material and media expert lecturers, teachers and students. Data collection was carried out using media validation tests and learning outcomes tests. The results of the research show that the design of windmill media in alternative energy material for grade 3 students at SD Negeri 23 Banda Aceh includes windmill components, such as windmill blades, windmill poles and the terrace where the windmill is placed. The windmill media developed based on a feasibility test is very suitable for use in alternative energy materials for grade 3 students at SD Negeri 23 Banda Aceh.
