MINAT DAN MOTIVASI SISWA TERHADAP PERMAINAN CABANG OLAHRAGA DI SMAN SE-KABUPATEN ACEH SELATAN

Abstract

The formulation of this research problem is, what is students' interest in sports games at SMAN in South Aceh Regency? and what motivates students to play the sport they are interested in? The aim of this research is to find out students' interest in playing sports at SMAN in South Aceh Regency and to find out what motivates students to play the sports they are interested in. The main question in this research is: What sport do students enjoy doing most during sports class time? What is students' interest in various sports games at school? What motivates students to like playing the sport they like? In sports games, do students play well?. This research is qualitative research. This type of research is descriptive analysis, namely a method that aims to focus on the present and actual moment by collecting and analyzing data objectively. The research population was all students at SMAN throughout South Aceh Regency for the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 950 students. The number of samples in this study was 95 people. Data collection techniques in the field are carried out using research instruments, namely observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques using simple statistical formulas. Based on the results of data processing, it can be concluded that regarding the motivation of students towards playing the sport they are interested in, namely SMA Negeri 1 TapakTuan, out of 59 students, 27.75% strongly agree, 54.24% agree, 5.89% Disagree, 1 Strongly Disagree. .91%. SMA Negeri 1 Sawang out of 44 students stated that they strongly agreed 26.98%, agreed 55.4%, Disagree 15.62%, Strongly Disagree 2%. SMA Negeri 1 Samadua out of 28 students stated that they strongly agreed 52.23%, agreed 37.05%, Disagree 9.38%, Strongly Disagree 1.4%. Thus, from 3 senior high schools in South Aceh district, students' responses regarding the motivation to play sports that they are interested in are more likely to agree.
